I Pink I Love You

Happy Valentine's Day!

Like I said in a previous post I have a new liking to the color pink, so I thought that this would be a good day to share my favorite PINK things.  I would probably go crazy in a roomed filled with pink, but these accents add a pretty and fun touch to any space or wardrobe:

• Pink Mohair

Mohair throws are not only so warm and comfortable, but they add nice texture to a room.  A pink mohair scarf would also be a nice addition to a neutral outfit.  Pictured is the Tearose brushed mohair throw from Lands Downunder, and the scarf was found on @freshpievintage's Instagram. 

• Pink Interior Brick

Designer Genevieve Gorder does it again.  This blush rose brick wall is brilliant!  I love when I discover something I have not seen before and it is so inspirational.

• Pink Kilim Rugs

I am obsessed with bold kilim rugs, and also with Kaya Kilim's photos of their inventory.  Most of their rugs include pinks, reds and oranges, and they would be so beautiful in any style home. 

• Pastel Pink Exteriors

During my recent vacation to Punta Gorda, Florida I realized how much I loved the pastel- colored houses.  My favorites were the pink houses, next to the vibrant green palm trees.

 

 

• Pink Embroidery

I came across embroidery artist Lauren Holton's Instagram page @larkrising.  I love the shades of pink in her works of art, and they would be so fun to give as a gift or decorate a wall with.  

• Pink Macaroons

And of course, I have to include my favorite pink treat: macaroons.  I love this photo of pink French ombre macaroons by Indayani Baked Goods of Fishers, Indiana.  Now I'm drooling...
